Fat loss advice - how to lose stomach fat faster.?

Question: Fat loss advice - how to lose stomach fat faster.?

(Posted by: Raz on 2010-01-07 18:16:25)

Hello, I have currently been on a fat loss program for around a few months. To be precise, october - January. My question today is, how long will it take for me, to visually see fat reduction results. I'll start off by what i've been doing I'm just under 6 foot. I'm 17 years old, and I weigh around 10 stones (140 pounds) - Point 1 : Workout A total of 90 minutes a day 60 minutes cardio 15 minutes weights 15 minute crunches Cardio = Dance/ Work Out (Stretching/ movement/ workout dvd in general) and 30 minutes jogging Weights = Basic Weight lifting and weights w/ stretches Crunches = Abdominal Crunches such as sit ups and twists Diet. General Meal Plan: Breakfast = Hot Oats/ Porridge Morning Snack = Fruit (1 portion) Lunch = Wholemeal Sandwhich, generally plain wholemeal bread Afternoon Snack = Fruit (2 portions) Dinner = Meat or Chicken w/ Pasta/ Rice/ Potatoes and others ( Evening Snack = Fruit (1- 2 Portions + Yoghurt) I tend to eat Potatoes/ Lettuce when I can, i'm not a huge fan of vegetables, I've tried to endure it but I end up throwing it all back up. - - - - I'm here on yahoo today as I'm uncertain. I've been working for around 3- 4 months and i've yet to see a visible change. I have begun taking some acai supplements but I've only been using them for a short time (2 days) I really just want to know when I will lose this stomach fat. I find myself feeling upset and depressed because of this. I don't look fat on the outside (clothed) but I am fat when i'm naked, I can squeeze my stomach and feel the fat. it makes me feel horrible and I hate looking at my stomach. I just want to know how and when I will see this fat visibly being gone. I want to lose the fat, I'm not too bothered about a 6 pack, I'd just like a nicely toned smooth stomach. I'm really not happy about my stomach and I have been trying my best to lose the fat but I can't see a visual result. I appreciate anyhelp I get with this.

Wow - that's long question. Here's a short answer: Situps - 50 a day for a month. Pressups - 50 a day for a month. Drink - home-made fruit smoothies every day for a month. Eat - less bread/ rice/ potato, and more fruit/ veg/ white meats, every day for a month. Do this, get thin.

If you wish to be slim without much effort, then you seriously need to get over your vegetable phobia. They are nature's most perfect food and should be making up most of what you eat. The porridge breakfast is a great one, and fruit is good too. When eating meat always try to make sure it's always the white variety - chicken or fish. I'm guessing your main problem is with carbohydrates - brown bread, pasta, rice, and potatoes are all very nice, but they need to be limited, and they should never make up the bulk of every meal. All carbohydrates are quickly broken down to sugar inside your body, which will definitely be working against your weight loss goals. One good tip I can give you for consuming your daily veggies is to make smoothies with them. That way you can drink them down and make them taste a lot nicer. They are also very filling. They can be very nutritious when made the correct way - so look online and read about all the different healthy ways you can make them. :-)
