Are you talking about 10 miles of running each session of 10 miles total in 5 sessions? It makes a big difference. Studies show that the best way to burn fat and achieve general fitness is through a combination of weights and cardio, which is what I recommend as a routine. But you also need to do a search on "overtraining " to understand that you're probably overdoing it. Exercise yields benefits up to a point, and beyond that point you're only exposing yourself to injury and actually undermining your efforts to lose fat. Work smarter, not harder, and eat junk-free food -- that's also my advice. After you've burned the first 1,000 calories, the next 500 do considerably less for fat loss and fitness. |
